WHY CHOOSE US

Children are great at enjoying the moment and at Stepping Stones Day Nursery every moment Matters.

SAFETY MATTERS…

Looking after your child is at the heart of everything we do. We have an excellent record of staff retention and our ratios ensure that your child is safe in a warm and caring environment, with a gentle transition from home to nursery life.

FOOD MATTERS…

Mealtimes are fun, social and healthy times. Our menu is designed to ensure your child receives a well-balanced, nutritious and varied diet. All food is prepared and cooked fresh everyday by our cook Paul, who received a level 5 hygiene rating! All dietary requirements are catered for. Meal times are a social occasion where children enjoy interacting with their friends and learning good table manners.

SLEEP MATTERS…

Whilst you and your child settle into nursery life, we work closely with you so that your child’s nursery routines are consistent with home life.

LEARNING THROUGH PLAY MATTERS…

At Stepping Stones there is always a purpose to every fun game and activity – learning new skills! Our qualified staff specialise in early childhood development to ensure your child is getting a great start in life. Your child has a devoted key person who plans for your child’s individual needs making education exciting and achievable.

FAMILY MATTERS…

At Stepping Stones we work in partnership with you and your family and with other agencies such as local children’s centers and health visitors to ensure support and advice are easily accessible.

SCHOOL MATTERS…

For us, one of the most exciting things about nursery is helping your child get ready for that exciting moment when they start school. We make sure that they are developing happily every step of the way so that they are school-ready at the right time. To do this we work closely with local schools to make the transition as easy as possible.
